Ivan Bamford

Candian drummer Ivan Bamford adds a unique and contrapuntal percussive dimension to Sourikova's music.

Originally from Vancouver, he has been immersed in jazz since childhood. After studying with Claude Ranger, Dylan van der Schyff and Pierre Tanguay, Bamford is now based in Montréal.

He has played with Bunco and the Single Malt Quartet, Bruno Hubert, André Lachance, Coat Cooke, Alan Matheson, Masa Anzai, Joel Lower, Stew Brinton and Russell Sholberg.

He is currently working with Gadji-Gadjo, BAMBAM, Frans Ben Callado, and Straight Pipe.
