Sabina Rakcheyeva
Member of the European Cultural Parliament, violinist Sabina Rakcheyeva is a graduate of Juilliard School in New York and holds a Doctorate from School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. Originally from Azerbaijan, Sabina is fascinated by cross-cultural collaborations and has performed in over forty countries.
A strong believer that “art can change the world”, Sabina has appeared at the UNESCO Hall in Paris, Biennale in Venice, United Nations General Assembly Hall in New York, Bundestag in Berlin and has addressed the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
She was honored to perform for the renowned musicians and cultural leaders Mstislav Rostropovich and Daniel Barenboim and for the Presidents of the European Commission, Azerbaijan, Russia, Romania, United Nations Secretary-General and HRH Prince of Liechtenstein.
Besides performing, she is cultural advisor at the European Azerbaijan Society in London.
