Mark Lloyd
Mark graduated in music from Goldsmiths College in 1995 with first class honours. Since then he has worked as a kit drummer in numerous fields of music including intimate jazz with the Katya Sourikova Trio, classical-pop crossover with Rhydian and Blake, musical theatre in pantomime with Christopher Biggins and Basil Brush, folk rock with Landing Party, acoustic pop with Idiot Son, and of course contemporary music with Avenue-A.
He is a well-respected drum tutor, having published two tutor books (The Drummer's Toolbox, and The Swing Manual), and is also a busy transcriber and arranger for projects involving Judi Dench, Anna Friel, Michael Ball, Katherine Jenkins, and Susan Boyle among others. The Avenue A Ensemble is the greatest technical challenge to his musicianship in all his years drumming!
